The BufonBet Licence, Straight from the Public Register
Most licensing pages on affiliate sites explain licensing in general and never name the licence of the casino they are about. This one starts with the register entry, because it exists and anyone can look it up.
The operator domain for this brand is bufonbet.com. Requested on 21 August 2026 and again on 4 October 2026, it answers with a redirect to gangabet.mx, a Spanish-language casino and sportsbook for Mexico. The licence named in that site's footer appears in the Anjouan register as a single record:

On 4 October 2026 the seal on gangabet.mx also opened a validation page on verification.anjouangamingboard.org that showed OW Internacional Ltd, San Victor Street, Orange Walk Town, Belize, registered website gangabet.mx, status valid, licence ALSI-202512013-FI1.

Fl1 or FI1? The number ends in a capital I and the digit 1. In August the operator's footer printed "ALSI-202512013-Fl1" with a lowercase L. On 4 October 2026 the footer served to visitors in Mexico had it right, but the fallback footer built into the site's code — the one visitors from other countries see — still prints "Fl1" and spells the company "OW International LTD". It is a typing slip, not a second licence, but if you paste "Fl1" into the register search you will find nothing. Search for FI1 or for the company name.
Where the Licence Does Not Apply
The seal validation page lists excluded territories in which the licence "is not valid": Australia, the Comoros, France, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom and the USA, plus FATF-blacklisted and sanctioned jurisdictions. It states that playing from those territories is prohibited and that complaints from players there fall outside the licence and will not be handled.
The operator's own country list on its site nevertheless includes France, Spain, England and the United States, and its terms contain no list of restricted countries — only a clause admitting people who are not barred from gambling by the territory they are in. Terms, payment rules and promotions are published for Mexico only. If you live in one of the excluded countries, the licence gives you no complaint route, and an account can be closed and activity voided.
Mexico: No Permit Number Published
Mexico is where this brand's visitors mostly come from, and gambling there is authorised by the Interior Ministry's Dirección General de Juegos y Sorteos (SEGOB). The operator's footer and terms cite only the Anjouan licence and give no SEGOB permit number. On 4 October 2026 we could not reach the regulator's list of authorised sites from our location, so we cannot confirm or rule out a Mexican permit. If it matters to you, ask the operator for the permit number and check it on juegosysorteos.gob.mx.
How to Complain Under This Licence
- Operator first. Write to [email protected] or use the web chat or ticket system, and keep copies. The operator's terms name these as the complaint channels.
- Wait 30 days. Under the Anjouan rules the operator's internal process must be completed before going further.
- Approved ADR provider. If the complaint is unresolved after 30 days, it can go to an alternative dispute resolution provider approved by the Anjouan Gaming Authority, at the operator's cost: EGIS ADR, Axion ADR, iGaming ADR or CADRE B.V. This route does not apply to players in the excluded territories listed above.
What an Anjouan Licence Does and Does Not Give You
Anjouan is an offshore jurisdiction in the Union of the Comoros. It publishes a searchable register listing every holder, the status, the licence type and the domains covered, which is why the check above was possible at all. The conditions printed on the validation page require an ADR service, anti-money-laundering controls, self-exclusion and deposit-limit tools and certified random number generators.
What it does not give is the enforcement weight of a UK or Malta licence: no published enforcement actions at that scale, no compensation scheme and no requirement we could find to segregate player funds. Treat the licence as a verified identity and a complaint route, not as a guarantee of payouts.

- Open the regulator's register from the regulator's own domain, not through a link on the casino.
- Search by company name as well as by number: one company often runs several brands, and this licence covers three domains under one entry.
- Read the whole row: status, type, dates and the domain list. A domain that is not on the list is not covered, whatever the footer says.
- Click the seal on the operator's site. A genuine seal opens a validation page on the regulator's verification domain; a seal that is only a picture is a warning sign.

Because both are brands of the same company on the same licence. On 21 August and 4 October 2026 bufonbet.com redirected to gangabet.mx, the Mexican site. The register lists all three domains together, so the redirect does not take you off the licence.
